1. Visit Little Island at Pier 55

With the anticipated grand opening this May 21st and after 7 years of planning and construction, Little Island at Pier 55 is finally open to the public! Go early in the morning! From 6 am-12 pm, no reservations are required for entry. For noon and on, free timed-entry reservations are required for entry. Once you enter the park, there’s no time limit to your stay. Reserve your tickets here. Tip! Bring a picnic blanket with you! There is plenty of grass to lounge around in. 2. Picnic at Central Park 

Grab a picnic basket, and enjoy NYC’s iconic 843-acre park! Our favorite places to picnic are Sheep Meadow, Strawberry Fields, Great Lawn, Belvedere Castle, and Bow Bridge. Walk straight from 86th Station to check out the breathtaking views of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir and head towards Great Lawn. Bring fun activities! Pack a badminton racquet or a flying disc and enjoy the evening. Afterward, go grab a wine at Amsterdam Wine near 72nd and Levain Bakery for a sweet treat!

3. Fourth of July Brunch Picnic at Domino Park 

Domino Park is a 5-acre public park located along the East River in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and a great location to celebrate the fourth of July for families. Grab a bite at Tacocina with the grand sight of Williamsburg Bridge. For adults, check out Other Half Brewing Company and order a beer to go! For Kids, Domino Park’s playground always generates excitement and buzz. The water fountain is also a hit for kids, make sure to bring extra clothes to change in after! 4. Coney Island & Luna Park for Fourth of July Vibe

Experience unique attractions​, thrilling roller coasters, and more! Make sure to reserve wristbands for Luna Park before you go! You can arrive at Luna Park in Coney Island 30 minutes within the entry time you reserve. (Tip: if you reserve a family fun wristband, you can also get individual tickets for Cyclone, which is the second-steepest wooden roller coaster in the world.)
